AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Legacy After School programs run from 2:10pm- 5:45pm every school day. Teachers and education specialists support scholars during the 3-hour activity intensive after school. Scholars rotate from homework assistance, to computer technology, and arts projects that stimulate learning.

SCHOOL BREAK CAMPS & DROP IN CARE
At Legacy we support the many working families in New York City and surrounding communities. During days off, spring, and winter school breaks we provide quality child care that follow a special full day schedule.

SUMMER CAMPS IN HARLEM & QUEENS
Legacy Summer Camps located in Manhattan and Queens allow children in grades PreK- 5th the opportunities to explore, make new friends and be active in a safe and educational environment during the summer. Campers will engage in sports, arts and culture and visit many cultural and educational institutions.

Legacy Youth Organization creates safe, nurturing, and innovative programs in partnership with Schools and communities of New York City and Boston. Our overall mission is to empower youth to reach their highest academic potential with services that are readily available to youth and their families.
Whether it’s a robotics club, a sports team, homework help, or summer camps, all Legacy School sites and centers provide quality activities that inspire youth to reach to succeed.
At Legacy, we offer a wide array of extended-day programming for children and youth (ages 4-18) throughout the school year, including academic enrichment, arts and technology instruction, leadership development, fitness, community engagement, college readiness, and Summer Camps.

Legacy, in partnership with principals and teachers, identifies the needs of each partner school. We have developed programming at 19 elementary and high schools using a mix of resources, including discretionary funding, leadership support, academic enrichment, and engagement programs that close the achievement gap.
